A few more tiny looks at my project I'm not allowing myself to talk about.
A teeny bit more info here.

One Good Thing - the comic (vol. 1)
Hey you cool dudes,
NEWS: I'm totally gonna have a comic out soon! It will be made up of the first month of my comic-diary-blog One Good Thing. I'm gonna to be selling them at £4 each. Not bad for 40 pages :)
I'll shout about them loads once they're printed, but for now enjoy these preview pictures and if you'd like to pre-order one email me (rachael(at)rachaelsmith.org).
Soz about the terrible quality of the pictures. I'm a cartoonist, not a photo-maker! xxx

Abbie
Sooo...I'm pretty rubbish at keeping my own secrets.
I have quite an exciting illustration job in the pipeline but I don't want to talk about it properly on the interwebs until contracts have been signed and whatnot. (Because it probably will fall through knowing my luck!)
But I couldn't help but share this little detail of one of the drawings. I've fallen a little bit in love with this character. She's called Abbie and she's 15 years old. She's a teeny bit emo and gloomy. But hella cute, no?
Anyway, I'll let you know if it's good news, if it isn't I'll just stay quiet and sulk for a bit. And probably dye my hair like emo-Abbie.

Warkitty!
Here's another character to add to the world Paul Banks and I invented on our recent pub trip.
Warkitty is subservient to Warbunny. And a little less angry.
He sure does love killing those mice though!!
If you missed the first Warbunny drawing then click here... OR HE'LL GET YOU!

Jadu characters
Here are a couple of cute little character designs I did for web content management company Jadu. They will feature in a promotional booklet. The girl is a designer and the boy is a developer.
Can't wait to see the finished product :)

Warbunny!
Hey guys,
I wanted to share this character, Warbunny! He is one angry dude.
The idea for this guy came from a recent trip to the pub with the amazing designer Paul Banks.
I decided I would try to bring him to life...

Hopefully this isn't the last we'll see of Warbunny.
