James Brown is Dead (he's not really...)

Here are a couple of images I put together for new electro band, James Brown is Dead.
The guys wanted something cool and street-wise. So I couldn't really do a fluffy bunny rabbit as I usually want to do with most briefs.

So I went for an angry bear:

And this word-play thingy:

And here are the original doodles that started it all:

Cat's gotta drink

Here's a quick comic I drew about a 'conversation' I had with my cat last night.
(I think that's the saddest thing I've ever written in my life?)

You can click on it to make it bigger if you like.
Go crazy.

Trinity Guildhall submission

Trinity Guildhall college in London are looking to change the look of their current text books. They asked if I wanted to come up with a rough, mock-up idea for them, so I did!
The books will mainly be used for children and teenagers, but they wanted a design that wouldn't put adults off buying it as well.
I went for a sort of comic book type character and a colourful, fresh design that is (hopefully) not too childlike...

It's been a while since I first blogged about Cuddles, but James and I are finally talking about putting this video game together.
I did some drawings of the main character to try to flesh out some ideas.

Collaboration Comic Goodness

This is a comic that me and the amazing Paul Shinn are collaborating on. I've really been enjoying it so I thought I'd give you a peak at what we have so far.
Paul started the first panel then sent it to me to finish - then when I'd finished it I started the next one and so on and so on. There isn't a set storyline so god knows what will end up happening...
When we have enough panels we'll start a blog especially for this project so watch this space, innit!
